Mining and Geological Law Team
We direct the Team’s services to entrepreneurs from the mining line of business, above all to mining companies and entities as well as the entrepreneurs that cooperate with them. Our offer has also been prepared with regard to the management and supervisory personnel of mining entrepreneurs in the scope of representing them in administrative proceedings.
Services
We advise in all legal aspects connected with the whole mining industry.
The scope of offered services concerns in particular such issues as:
- comprehensive legal services rendered to mining entrepreneurs and entities which cooperate with these entrepreneurs;
- representation of mining entrepreneurs before the courts and other institutions in cases related to mining damage;
- representation of the management and supervisory personnel of mining entrepreneurs in administrative proceedings, including appeals from the decisions of the District Mining Offices, appeals from the decisions of the State Mining Authority, complaints to the Provincial Administrative Courts, annulment complaints to the Supreme Administrative Court;
- legal consultancy in the form of oral and written opinions in the scope related to geological and mining law; including interpretations of EU directives and ordinances that may be applied in the company activity;
- giving legal consultations and elaboration of tender documentation drafts in the scope of public orders, with particular inclusion of sector orders.
Experience
For over 15 years we have been rendering continuous and comprehensive legal services in favour of mining and geological companies. We also advise in processes related to reforms taking place in the hard coal mining industry. We participated in the most important projects conducted for the leaders of this branch of business, starting with PARK S.A., through coal companies, among them the biggest mining company in Europe - Kompania Węglowa S.A. The experience gained throughout all these years enabled us to know and understand the problems of this line of business.

- longstanding, constant legal services rendered to entities cooperating with mining entrepreneurs: Instytut Techniki Górniczej „KOMAG”;
- reforms of hard coal mining industry, particularly transformations and structural changes in coal companies.
