Lawsuit Team
We give legal assistance to private persons and legal entities in the course of penal proceedings, with particular inclusion of the economic and tax aspects. At the same time, we represent parties in the course of civil proceedings, inasmuch the subject of the case exceeds the range of assistance given by the other specialist teams. Taking into account the fact that the court proceeding may often result in serious and long-term consequences, we attach importance not only to a positive solution of a dispute, but also to the protection of the image and good reputation.
Services
We advise and we represent the parties in all legal aspects related to penal proceedings and civil and economic proceedings with particular inclusion of penal and economic proceedings and penal and tax proceedings.
The scope of the services offered by us includes in particular the following:
- collecting and analysing of materials and evaluating the Client’s individual lawsuit situation;
- evaluation of the risk connected with penal, civil, and economic proceedings and elaboration of long-term scenarios of proceeding;
- support in negotiations with the lawsuit opposing party and preparation of the scenarios of conciliatory finalisation of the dispute;
- representation of the Clients’ interests in proceedings before, among other, courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration tribunals and courts of conciliation, the Supreme Court, public administration bodies, administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection, and labour courts.
Experience
For more than a dozen years we have been participating in numerous penal proceedings, both on the part of the defendants – as defence counsels and on the part of the aggrieved/auxiliary prosecutors. The gained experience and possessed knowledge enable us to deliver to our Clients reliable legal assistance of the highest level.
The experience of the Team Members includes among other participation in media covered proceedings, connected with the following events:
- robbery of the MAKRO centre in Zabrze (defence of the accused);
- International Katowice Fair (MTK) pavilion disaster (defence of the accused);
- disaster in KWK ”Halemba” (hard coal mine) (defence of the accused);
- representing the auxiliary prosecutor of ART B company in penal proceedings conducted particularly against the defendant Bogusław Bagsik;
- representing the shareholders of MCI Management in the proceedings against the Treasury for payment.
