He is a legal adviser in the managing boards of many companies operating in the power energy sector and steel industry in the scope of financial restructuring, tax planning, and environmental protection. He is the co-author of a program of managing the housing resources of the power industry sector companies. He is a consultant in a program of restructuring the mining industry. He is an expert of privatization law.
He is a graduate of the Department of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice. He had served his judicial apprenticeship after which he carried out the profession of a judge until 1985. Next, he gained the qualifications of a lawyer. Since 1989 he had practiced in one of the Lawyer's Co-operatives in Katowice and later he managed an Individual Lawyer's Office. Between 1995-2002 he was a partner of "Adwokaci i Doradcy" Law Office in Katowice. Founder and Managing partner of Ślązak, Zapiór i Wspólnicy Office. For the last two terms – member of the District Attorney Board in Katowice. A lecturer in the process of apprentice training.
