Energy Law and Environmental Protection Team
We direct comprehensive legal consultancy services to entrepreneurs from the energy line of business, chiefly to companies and entities, which subject of activity is the following: generation, sales, transfer, and distribution of electric energy or heat. Our offer is also prepared with consideration of the units of territorial self-government and entities, which activity has an impact on the natural environment.
Services
We advise in all legal aspects related to the energy branch and environmental protection.
The scope of offered services is connected in particular with such issues, as:
- comprehensive legal services of energy sector companies, both power engineering, and the so-called industrial energy companies;
- comprehensive legal services related to investment processes in power engineering and environmental protection with particular attention to renewable sources of energy;
- representation of energy sector companies before the courts and other institutions in cases related to the carried out business activity, including in particular before the President of the Energy Regulatory Office and the District Court in Warsaw and the Competition and Consumer Protection Court;
- representation of entities, which make use of the environment in administrative proceedings, including appeals from decisions of Environmental Protection Inspection bodies, complaints to Provincial Administrative Courts, and annulment claims to the Supreme Administrative Court;
- legal consultancy in the form of oral and written opinions in the scope related to energy law, environmental protection, and wastes; including interpretation of EU directives and ordinances, which may be used in the activity of the entities in question;
- giving legal consultancy, as well as elaboration of tender documentation drafts in the scope related to public orders, with particular inclusion of sector orders.
Experience
The experience gained during the many years of cooperation, both with domestic and foreign enterprises, contributed to broadening of the knowledge of the needs of the energy sector and delivering of effective and high quality legal assistance. For over 7 years our lawyers have been rendering constant and comprehensive legal services in favour of power industry companies. We realised or we are in the process of realising projects related to orders of a sector nature, including overhauls and modernisation of turbo generators. We also conduct legal and arbitral proceedings, particularly before the Chairman of the Energy Regulatory Office.
